Established in 1999, Carlow Women’s Aid is a company limited by guarantee (company number 335118) and is a registered charity (charity number CHY 13770).
The strategic direction of the organisation is overseen by a Board of Directors. The Board is governed by the Charities Regulator Governance Code.
The work of CWA is supported by voluntary involvement from local enterprise, local community centres & groups and local networks.
